Description
Best Hit Chronicle 2/5 PlayStation (SCPH-1000) is a 2/5 scale plastic model kit by Bandai of the original PlayStation console, made for its 25th anniversary.
The kit faithfully reproduces the details of the PlayStation released on December 3, 1994, and lets you assemble the inside of the console that could not be seen at the time. A layered construction reproduces the real console's color separation simply by snapping parts together.
Small logos on the buttons and switches are reproduced, and beyond the internal structure the rear terminals and power cable socket are faithfully recreated. A controller, a memory card and a clear disc representing the game software are included, with the disc's read side decorated using a foil sticker. The memory card can be inserted and removed just like the real one.
