X-Wing Fighter (Resistance Version) 1/72 is a 1/72 scale plastic model kit by Bandai of the Resistance X-Wing from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The finished model is about 173 mm long. Bandai verified the details against reference material and condensed them into the 1/72 scale kit. The wings open and close as in the film, the lines on the fuselage sides are separated by molded color, and finer lines are applied with water-slide decals and marking stickers.
The laser cannons can be shown firing by inserting laser effect parts into the wingtips. The display base is themed on the desert of Jakku, and several bases can be linked with joint parts.
