Description
1/48 Snowspeeder is the snowspeeder flown by Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, as a 1/48 scale plastic model kit from Bandai.
Thorough research went into condensing the vehicle's fine detail into 1/48 scale, and the finished model is 127 mm long. Swappable parts show the air brakes open or closed, and laser effect parts recreate the laser cannons firing. Two seated figures in the same scale are included, along with the power harpoon used to bring down an AT-AT on the snowfields of Hoth. The base is styled after the Hoth snowfield, and multiple bases can be linked with joint parts.
