Introducing the pinnacle of Aoshima's Remote Control Plastic Model series - the Type 10 MBT in a stunning 1/48 scale! This model represents a significant advancement in military technology, coming twenty years after the Type 90 tank's official adoption. The Type 10, which began mass production in 2011, is primarily used by the Fuji School of the Japan Ground Self Defense Force, having been deployed in January 2012. Unlike its predecessor, the Type 90, which had to be disassembled and transported on two trailers due to its weight, the Type 10's innovative weight reduction allows it to be transported on a single trailer, similar to the Type 74. This model is not only a marvel in design but also in functionality, equipped with an attitude control unit for enhanced performance.
The completed model comes to life with two FA-130 motors, requiring batteries (not included) for operation. It features a 2CH remote control system, allowing for forward and backward movement, as well as left and right rotation, with the purchase of a 2CH remote (sold separately). The remote box is designed for easy assembly, and the gear box is preassembled for your convenience. To complete the assembly of this magnificent model, all you need is a Phillips head screwdriver (+).
