Description
Immerse yourself in the whimsical world of Lewis Carroll with the Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Playing Cards - Half-Brick Set. This meticulously designed collection is a tribute to the timeless tale, reimagining its classic characters and enchanting scenes through a visually rich, art-driven lens, blending Japanese Ukiyo-e and surrealist influences.
Each deck features whimsical portraits of Wonderland's most memorable residents on the court cards, from the frantic White Rabbit to the grinning Cheshire Cat, and the imperious Queen of Hearts, with each character embodying a chapter of Alice's topsy-turvy journey. Custom pips evolve into thematic elements such as mushrooms, pocket watches, and teapots, adding to the immersive experience. The borderless card backs showcase a "Wibbly-Wobbly Harlequin" design, weaving together diamonds, tumbling blossoms, and a Dalí pocket watch motif. These designs drift freely from one card to the next, creating the illusion of an endless fabric when spread or stacked. Number cards are designed to form panoramic scenes when laid out in sequence, guiding you through Alice's adventure from the rabbit hole onward.
The tuck boxes themselves are imaginative works of art. Discover the "Tickky Tockky Tuck Box" (Special Edition) with its disorienting geometries and clock hands that spin in a madcap quadrille when pressed. Or encounter the "Moon-in-a-Box Tuck Box" (Standard Edition), which plays with light and illusion. Special editions within the series feature metallic cold-foil accents and harlequin diamond edge printing, adding an extra layer of detail and fantasy. Standard editions lean into softer pastel palettes.
This Half-Brick Set is part of the Room One Collection System. With every deck you acquire from this system, you will receive an extra collector's card, such as the Nine of Hearts, to enhance your collection.
