Description
Hasegawa's second Airacobra kit covers the P-39Q and N variants. Parts are included to allow either to be built with either internal .30 caliber wing guns or external .50 caliber pods, 20mm and 37mm cannon muzzles for the nose and bomb or drop tank for the centerline. Decals are for three aircraft: two Qs of the 357th FG, Lt. "Bud" Anderson's "Old Crow" (a name later made famous on his P-51B) and Wing Commander Chickering's "Saga Boy II"; and an N flown by Lt. Bill Fiedler of the 34th FG on Guadalcanal.
