Yang Xiao Long

Yang Xiao Long is one of the four leads of RWBY, the CG anime-style web series created by Monty Oum at Rooster Teeth. She is a blonde student at Beacon Academy, Ruby Rose's older half-sister, and the brawler of Team RWBY.

What makes Yang Xiao Long stand out

• Shotgun gauntlets Ember Celica is a pair of twin shotgun gauntlets: she punches, the guns fire, and the recoil adds force to the blow or launches her across the arena.
• Burn Her Semblance stores the energy of hits she takes and gives it back harder. It is a recoil-based system rather than a shield, which is why she walks toward damage instead of away from it.
• Colour as a naming rule Oum built the cast so that every name points at a colour, and Team RWBY's initials spell red, white, black and yellow. Yang's colour is yellow, hair included.
• The arm She loses her right arm in Volume 3. The bionic replacement she is fitted with afterwards has a shotgun mechanism built into the wrist, so the weapon survives the injury.

What this collection covers

The page is figures and small goods rather than a statue shelf: a Nendoroid Doll, a POP UP PARADE figure, two acrylic keychains from the Nendoroid Plus Lucid Dream line, a tote bag, a necklace and two T-shirt sizes. It reads as character merchandise first.
