Wu Xie

Wu Xie is the narrator and protagonist of Daomu Biji, Nanpai Sanshu's novel series about tomb raiders; the Time Raiders releases adapt the same story. He is the Wu family's sole heir and keeps an antique shop in Hangzhou.

What makes Wu Xie stand out

• A name that means innocent. Wu Xie sounds like the phrase for without evil. His grandfather chose it hoping the boy would stay out of the family trade.
• Two nicknames. Pangzi calls him Tianzhen, naive, a pun on his name. The trade calls him Xiao San Ye, young master three, because his third uncle is Master Three.
• Not built for it. He reads as a scholar, not a fighter. His author calls him an ordinary man with weaknesses, who hesitates when things turn dangerous.
