The VF-31S Siegfried is Delta Flight's leader machine in Macross Delta, flown by Arad Mölders as unit 01.

What it does in the story

Chaos built Walküre and Delta Flight to hold back Vár syndrome with song; the Siegfrieds are VF-31 Kairos reworked by Walküre Works with larger fold quartz.

What makes it different

  • Command fit. The strongest communications and fire-control fit of the four, with four head lasers and a red visor.
  • Peaky by request. Arad asked for the airframe tuned to its design limit rather than softened.
  • Matched to its singer. Fold wave parameters are set for Mikumo Guynemer, and its back carries a dragon skull mark.
