The VF-31E Siegfried is the early-warning machine of Delta Flight in Macross Delta, flown by Chuck Mustang as unit 03.

What it does in the story

Delta Flight escorts Walküre's battlefield concerts against Vár syndrome, and the E maps the ground before the others arrive.

What makes it different

  • A radome in a container. Reconnaissance and analysis gear plus a folding circular radar dome in the standard container, the only Delta Flight Siegfried with one.
  • Green single eye. Its head uses a green mono-eye camera and two head guns, and the airframe is trimmed in yellow.

How big is it?

  • Fighter mode: 19.31 m long, 14.14 m across, 3.85 m tall.
  • Battroid mode: 15.33 m, measured without the head guns.
