VF-25G Super Messiah Valkyrie

The VF-25G Super Messiah Valkyrie is Michael Blanc's sniper VF-25 with the SPS-25S Super Pack, in Macross Frontier.

What it does in the story

The Super Pack is the space fit, so the airframe does not spend its own propellant reaching the fight.

What makes it different

  • Boosters, not armour. Four main boosters, a sub-booster and ten verniers: 28 t with fuel and missiles.
  • The rifle still works. The sniper fit sits inside the airframe, so the SSL-9B flies with the pack on, and the wings still take fold speakers.
  • One head gun. A single head laser and the sniper type's sensor fit, in Michael's blue.

How big is it?

  • Fighter mode: 18.72 m from nose to tail, wings out to 15.50 m, 4.03 m high.

What this collection covers

Hasegawa's 1/72 VF-25G Super Messiah, moulded in blue, purple, white, light gray and clear, with a decal sheet.
