Ultraman Jack is the Ultra of Return of Ultraman, the Tsuburaya series that ran 51 episodes from 1971. He shares a body with Hideki Go, a garage worker who joins MAT.

What makes Ultraman Jack stand out

  • A name added later. Through the run he is called only Ultraman. Jack comes from later appearances, alongside Ultraman II and New Ultraman.
  • The Ultra Bracelet. Ultraseven hands him a bracelet mid-series that becomes the Ultra Lance and Ultra Spark. It was added because ratings were falling.
  • Cuffs left showing. His gloves and boots show their seams and red lines, unlike the 1966 suit, so the costume could be put on faster.
