Toru Oikawa

Toru Oikawa is the captain and starting setter of Aoba Johsai in Haikyu!!, Haruichi Furudate's volleyball manga. He came through Kitagawa Daiichi middle school, the same school where Tobio Kageyama played before Karasuno.

What makes Toru Oikawa stand out

• The Grand King. The series calls him Ō-sama, the Grand King. One episode is titled "VS the Grand King"; another, later, "Toru Oikawa Is Not a Genius".
• The one he listens to. Hajime Iwaizumi is the teammate he will actually take an argument from. The two are sold together as a Lookup set.
• Aoba Johsai runs through him. He plays setter and captains the side, so the team's offense is decided by the choices he makes at the net.
• A senior, then a rival. Kageyama knew him as the older setter at Kitagawa Daiichi, and their teams meet across the net in the prefectural tournaments.

What this collection covers

The page mixes figure scales with small goods. Kotobukiya's ARTFX J and MegaHouse's G.E.M. palm-size series take the figure end, with a FuRyu figure and a Noodle Stopper alongside. There are two Nendoroids, one in a school uniform, a re-run, and three Lookup entries, one of them a set with Iwaizumi. Small goods come from Takara Tomy's COLLEKAZARO, Bushiroad's Puchish! and Pingurumi, and MegaHouse's Buddycolle rubber mascots.
