SpaceGodzilla

SpaceGodzilla is the antagonist of Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla (1994), a crystalline clone of Godzilla that arrives from deep space.

What it does in the story

The film reasons that Godzilla's cells, carried into space and through a black hole, returned crystalline. He comes to kill Godzilla, grows a crystal formation in Fukuoka and takes Little Godzilla hostage.

What makes it different

• Crystals as a power grid. He draws strength from the crystals he grows and fires energy from those on his shoulders.
• A steerable beam. The Corona Beam leaves his mouth and can be guided in flight.
