Shikamaru Nara

Shikamaru Nara is a shinobi of Konohagakure in Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto and a member of Team 10 with Choji Akimichi, Ino Yamanaka and Asuma Sarutobi. Asuma puts his IQ above 200, and his clan's signature technique is shadow manipulation.

What makes Shikamaru Nara stand out

• Shadow Imitation. The Nara clan technique merges his shadow with an opponent's, pinning them and forcing them to copy his movements. Later he stretches it to several targets at once.
• Plans before punches. He reads terrain, counts seconds and sets traps, so the tension in a Shikamaru fight comes from a plan becoming visible.
• Reluctance as character. He calls most things troublesome and would rather watch clouds, which is why the moments he commits land harder.

What this collection covers

Most of the page is Shippuden-era. Banpresto supplies an Ichibansho from the Hidan and Kakuzu arc and two Qposket releases; MegaHouse provides Lookup figures, alone and with Gaara, plus a Nyaruto cat and a rubber mascot. TAMASHII NATIONS' S.H.Figuarts is the articulated option. Two listings are multi-character assortments, a Chokorin blind box and a metal badge box.
