Shanks

Shanks, usually called Red-Haired Shanks, is a pirate in Eiichiro Oda's One Piece and captain of the Red Hair Pirates; within the story he holds one of the Four Emperors' positions. He appears in the opening chapters as the figure who sets Luffy on his course, and his design has barely moved: red hair, a long dark cloak, three scars across the left eye, one arm.

What makes Shanks stand out

• The silhouette carries the character. Red hair, a cloak that falls past the waist, a sword at the hip and a missing left arm. Every release here keeps those four things, so a Shanks figure is identifiable from across a shelf.
• Two pieces are built to be posed. Variable Action Heroes gives a jointed body for standing and swinging poses, and the S.H.Figuarts two-pack with a young Luffy is made for a scene between the two rather than a solo stance.
• Named techniques become statues. FiguartsZero fixes the Divine Departure attack into one sculpt, and the Grandista and Battle Record releases take the same single-pose approach at a different height.
• The character also appears off-model. The Mega Cat Project redraws the crew as cats, and a boxed set from that line sits on this page. Lookup seats him with his legs forward, a format sized to a desk edge rather than a display case.

What this collection covers

A mix of posable figures, fixed statues built around a single attack, seated Lookup pieces, a cat-styled boxed set and a small Niformation release. Boxed multi-packs appear alongside single figures.
