Sea Panther

The Sea Panther is a Hermit Crab-type Zoid of the Zenebas Empire, catalogued EMZ-31: an amphibious machine built to come ashore rather than to hold water.

What it does in the story

Its one campaign is the Zenebas landing of ZAC 2041, the two-pronged attack on the Central Continent after the Empire regrouped on the Dark Continent. It was built for the ground half, and never reached an anime.

What makes it different

  • Two speeds. 100 km/h on land and 50 knots in water, steered by an underwater vernier.
  • A shell worth having. Hard manipulators and a crab hull give it more armour than most Zoids of its weight.
  • Torpedoes as well as guns. A beam cannon and a twelve-shot missile launcher alongside a three-tube torpedo pod.
