RZ-053 König Wolf

The RZ-053 König Wolf is a Wolf-type Zoid of the Helic Republic, designed as the Command Wolf's successor and a less costly alternative to the Liger Zero.

What it does in the story

It was built on the larger wild wolves of the Western Continent and flown in the ZAC 2102 invasion of Nyx, escorting Madthunders. Republic pilots still used it in ZAC 2105.

What makes it different

  • No rifle as built. Fangs, four Electron Strike Claws and two multi-dischargers; every ranged option sold apart.
  • Goggles. A headgear rig folds down over the cockpit: heat vision, night camera and dual scopes for precision shooting.
  • Heavy Arms. The blue special-forces version carries the CP-22 dual sniper rifle and four CP-23 five-shot missile pods.

  • Height and mass: 8.64 m tall, 21.24 m long, 90.5 t, 290 km/h, one crew.
