RMS-108 Marasai, originally MSA-002, is a second-generation mass-production mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Zeta Gundam, set during the Universal Century's Gryps Conflict. Anaheim Electronics designed it for the AEUG, then handed it to the Titans under pressure, and it became the eighth machine built at Granada.
What it does in the story
The Titans put the Marasai on the front line through the Gryps Conflict, most visibly with Jerid Messa, whose machine fights the Gundam Mk-II while defending Jaburo. Kacricon Cacooler's Marasai is destroyed when Kamille Bidan shoots away its ballute and lets it burn up on re-entry. Near the war's end the Barzam replaces it.

Anaheim built the MSA-002 for the AEUG, then presented the design to the Titans once they began asking about Anaheim's loyalties, and it was mass-produced under their numbering.

The frame follows the RMS-106, pipes and mono-eye included, but adds a Movable Frame and Gundarium alloy, lifting defence, manoeuvrability and sensor reach while weighing tons less empty.

A new large backpack with high-power thrusters gives it brief atmospheric flight, and a stronger Minovsky reactor lets it fire beam weapons far more often than a Hizack.

The shield is right, the spikes are left.
The shield holds a rack for two beam sabers with longer handles than standard, and the left pauldron is spiked; the result is rated equal to the Nemo and a match for the Rick Dias.
