Priestess

Priestess, Onna Shinkan in Japanese, is the female lead of Goblin Slayer, Kumo Kagyu's dark fantasy light novels illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki. She begins the story as a fifteen-year-old porcelain-ranked adventurer on her first quest.

What makes Priestess stand out

• A class, not a name. Adventurers in this world are known by their class or trade, so she is Priestess and her party leader is Goblin Slayer. The cast is named by class rather than by name.
• Three miracles. She heals, calls the miracle of holy light, and casts protective spells, all with a high level of proficiency.
• Porcelain. The lowest rank an adventurer can hold, and the one she carries on the first quest, the one that goes wrong before Goblin Slayer reaches her.
• Raised in a temple. She is an orphan brought up in a temple, and that upbringing is where her miracles and her vocation came from.
