Osamu Miya

Osamu Miya is a second-year wing spiker for Inarizaki High School in Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!! and the younger of the Miya twins. He plays beside his brother Atsumu, the setter, and is the more collected of the two.

What makes Osamu Miya stand out

• A wing spiker beside a setter twin. Atsumu runs the offence and Osamu finishes it from the wing, so paired releases read as a set rather than two versions of one figure.
• The nicknames do the character work. Osamu calls his brother Tsumu and is called Samu in return; the fox-cape LookUp releases are sold as Tsumu Fox and Samu Fox.
• Kansai dialect is part of the character. Inarizaki are written as a Kansai team, and Suna is noted as the only regular who does not speak the dialect.
• The quieter twin. Where Atsumu is demanding and sometimes at odds with teammates, Osamu is calmer, and the line keeps that contrast rather than treating them as interchangeable.
