Orihime Inoue

Orihime Inoue is a Karakura Town student in Tite Kubo's Bleach and one of Ichigo Kurosaki's closest allies. Her powers surface when she tries to protect a friend, and take the form of six small spirits, the Shun Shun Rikka, who live in her hairpins.

What makes Orihime Inoue stand out

• Three ways to use six spirits. Santen Kesshun is the triangular shield, Sōten Kisshun undoes damage, and Koten Zanshun sends Tsubaki out to attack.
• Her power rejects events. Sōten Kisshun does not heal so much as return a body to an earlier state; she regrew Grimmjow's arm in front of Aizen and the Espada.
• The fairies live in the hairpins. The six petals are the Shun Shun Rikka's home, which is why the pins stay in except to sleep.
