GNX-803OG Ogre GN-X is a Gunpla in Gundam Build Divers (2018), built on the GNX-803T GN-XIV and customised around a Japanese ogre motif. Ogre, of the team Hyakki, builds and flies it as a close-quarters machine.

What it does in the story

It appears in episode two against three Dom Test Types, dropping one with a beam shoulder tackle before meeting Riku Mikami's 00 Diver. Episode nine brings it back against the 00 Diver Ace and a Geara Ghirarga, spinning the joined twin sword to turn aside the Ghirarga's tail weapons.

What makes it different

  • The armour bill is paid in hover units. Heavy equipment pushed the build into the heavy mobile suit class at 90.5 t, so the GN verniers were strengthened and hover units went into the legs. It arrives with the mass it is carrying.
  • Trans-Am drops a visor over the face. Trans-Am lowers the forehead visor and switches the suit into Hitotsume Mode, a lock-on function that converges every sensor on one opponent and keeps it there.
  • The two swords join into one. A GN Field over the blades lets each GN Ogre Sword serve as a shield, and connecting the pair makes the larger GN Ogre Twin Sword.
  • The forearms fire on wires. Four GN Beam Spikes extend from each forearm, and a wired shooting mechanism lets them be steered in three dimensions instead of fired straight ahead.
