NZ-999 Neo Zeong

NZ-999 Neo Zeong is a mobile armor flown by Full Frontal in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, in May U.C. 0096. The 116 m hull carries the MSN-06S Sinanju inside it as the core unit; it is not a mobile suit.

What it does in the story

Full Frontal deploys it for the last stage of the Laplace Incident, with the Sinanju sealed inside and still firing its own beam sabers and rocket bazookas through the frame's hands. The Psycho Shard ring it raises is what strips the Unicorn and Banshee Gundams of their weapons.

What makes it different

• The mobile suit is a passenger. The Sinanju's cockpit, vulcans, sabers and shield all travel inside the larger hull, and its two rocket bazookas stow in weapon containers on the armour's shoulders.
• Its funnel bits can steal other suits. Five large wired bits sit on each primary arm tip with spares stored inside, and the four secondary arms carry more; three drill-tipped wires let a bit bore into an enemy and turn it on its allies.
• The Psycho Shard Generator is the real weapon. Generators in the skirt armour and shoulder thrusters project a ring of golden hexagonal crystals whose psycho field is described as able to actualise the pilot's thoughts.
• It is flown by thought. The psycho-frame cockpit lets Full Frontal control the armour through his mask from outside it, and four I-field generators cover the main body against beam fire.

How big is it?

• Overall height: 116.0 m, with a 59.0 m width and 153.8 t empty weight, per Bandai's official spec
• 1/144: roughly 81 cm
• 1/100: roughly 116 cm
