Nozomi Tojo

Nozomi Tojo is a third-year at Otonokizaka High School and the student council vice-president in Love Live!, and she is the one who gave μ's its name.

What makes Nozomi Tojo stand out

  • She named the group. She took μ's from the Muses, the nine daughters of Zeus, on the reasoning that nine girls would end up performing together.
  • Cards and a Kansai drawl. She reads tarot for the others, hands out advice before anyone asks, and speaks in a relaxed Kansai dialect from the years her family spent there.
  • Working behind the president. As vice-president she spent the first season quietly steering Honoka Kosaka's group around Eli Ayase's rulings, then joined after Eli Ayase did.
  • lily white, violet. Her sub-unit is lily white with Umi Sonoda and Rin Hoshizora, and her image colour is violet.
