Nina Iseri

Nina Iseri is the vocalist of Togenashi Togeari in GIRLS BAND CRY, the 2024 Toei Animation series directed by Kazuo Sakai. She is 17, from Kumamoto, and leaves high school after clashing with her father, before ending up in a band in Kawasaki.

What makes Nina Iseri stand out

• She was not built to be the centre. Nina is written as an ordinary, slightly withdrawn student with middling grades who reads the room and follows it, until the pressure breaks and she acts out in public. The band is the first thing she chooses for herself.
• The voice is the premise. Her singing is what convinces Momoka Kawaragi to start a band with her, and the character's vocals are performed by Rina, the singer cast for the part.
• Truancy, worn as a print. One scale figure is sold as the Truancy version, wearing the printed t-shirt from the fifth episode, where the break with school is set. The red check skirt is painted to match the animation.

What this collection covers

Two scale figures, a Kotobukiya piece in the stage outfit from the opening song's music video and a Good Smile Arts Shanghai Truancy version, sit with a SEGA XStellar figure and two Kuripan plushies, one in the Episode 11 live-performance outfit.
