Narberal Gamma

Narberal Gamma is a battle maid of the Great Tomb of Nazarick in Overlord, Kugane Maruyama's light novel series, which began online in 2010 and has run as an anime since 2015. She is a doppelgänger and one of the Pleiades Six Stars, the tomb's battle-maid squad, and she also works outside it under the name Nabe.

What makes Narberal Gamma stand out

• Two outfits, one character. Inside Nazarick she wears a white bonnet and black armour cut like a maid uniform, with a silver-plated golden staff. As Nabe, the adventurer, she wears a plain brown cloak and passes as a human magic caster.
• A doppelgänger with one face. Her human form comes from a doppelgänger's transformation skill. A low racial level leaves her a single shape, and gloves cover the hands she was made with.
• Made by one of the founders. Nishikienrai, one of the nine founders of the guild Ainz Ooal Gown, created her, which is why her loyalty is written as a matter of design rather than choice.
• The contempt is the character. She treats humans as lesser creatures and barely hides it. Ainz's orders are the only thing that restrains her.
