Nami

Nami is the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates in Eiichiro Oda's One Piece, and the crew's mapmaker before she is anything else. She joined early in the run, and the series has redrawn her in a new outfit for nearly every arc since, which is why a row of Nami figures reads as a record of her costumes rather than a set of variants on one design.

What makes Nami stand out

• The outfit dates the figure Titles usually name the look: O-Nami comes from the Wano arc, Romance Dawn refers to the opening chapters, and the Extra Battle release is built around her lightning attack. Reading the costume is faster than reading the box.
• Two Namis, two media One S.H.Figuarts release is taken from the live-action Netflix series, so the face follows the actor rather than the manga drawing. Placed next to the anime sculpts, it is a different likeness in the same silhouette.
• Poseable and fixed, side by side S.H.Figuarts and Variable Action Heroes are jointed figures with exchangeable hands and faces. FiguartsZERO and Portrait.Of.Pirates are fixed statues built around a single pose, so buyers choose between photography and display.
• Weather as a prop The Lightning Blast FiguartsZERO carries its effect in the sculpt, with the charge modelled around the figure. It is the one release in the group where the technique is the subject rather than the outfit.

What this collection covers

The page is mostly fixed-pose statues. Portrait.Of.Pirates supplies the 1/8 pieces, FiguartsZERO and the Extra Battle release sit just below them, and G.E.M. and Lookup cover the smaller formats. The articulated side is handled by S.H.Figuarts and Variable Action Heroes, which can be reposed.
