Mutsumi Wakaba

Mutsumi Wakaba is the rhythm guitarist of Ave Mujica in BanG Dream!, Bushiroad's music franchise, and she performs under the stage name Mortis, borrowed from the lunar plain Lacus Mortis. She is a first-year at Tsukinomori Girls' Academy, and before Ave Mujica she played in CRYCHIC.

What makes Mutsumi Wakaba stand out

• A stage name taken from the Moon. Ave Mujica presents itself as a masked troupe, each member under an assumed name. For Mutsumi that is Mortis, after a dark plain on the lunar surface.
• Quiet by design. She is stoic and says little, which suits a band whose shows are built out of costume, lighting and silence as much as songs.
• A famous household, and something of her own. Her father is the comedian Wakaba, her mother the actress Mori Minami. That shadow left her with an inferiority complex, and she took up guitar to have something of her own.
• Seven strings. She plays a Schecter seven-string guitar, which gives the band's two guitar parts room to sit apart.

What this collection covers

The page leans on plush: a 40 cm Mortis plush, a Just-a-Bit-Bigger version, the standard Ave Mujica Mortis doll, a school uniform plush and a CRYCHIC Mutsumi plush. Alongside those sit a PalVerse Palé mini figure, a Premium Figure in uniform, and a Yumemirize figure on the Pajama Party theme.
