Monkey D. Garp

Monkey D. Garp, called Garp the Fist, is a Marine Vice Admiral: father of Dragon, grandfather of Luffy and adoptive grandfather of Ace. His part in the God Valley Incident, which ended the Rocks Pirates, earned him the name Hero of the Marines.

What makes Garp stand out

  • Bare hands He fights with his fists rather than a weapon, which is where the nickname comes from.
  • Teacher to a generation He trained Kuzan, Koby and Helmeppo. After the war at Marineford he moved into instructing recruits while keeping the rank of Vice Admiral.
  • The family line He raised Luffy himself for a while before leaving the boy with the Dadan Family.

What this collection covers

Two Banpresto figures: a Battle Record Collection release in a battle-ready pose, and a DXF Grandline Series special in his vice admiral coat with medals.
