HER-SELF Mobile Doll Sarah is a Gunpla from Gundam Build Divers, built by Koichi Nanase and Tsukasa Shiba so that Sarah, an EL-Diver, would have a body. At 1/144 the figure stands about 15 cm, and it reads as a 21.8 m machine inside GBN.

What it does in the story

Sarah is an electronic lifeform the GBN system created by accident, and the Gunpla was built to save her: Koichi supplied hardware he had prepared, and Tsukasa moved her into it with a Build Decal. Scanning the figure on a Diver Gear lets her log in, where it appears as MS Mode.

What makes it different

  • It is a housing, not a weapon. The Build Decal is derived from the illegal Break Decal but drops the illegal codes and their side effects, so the transfer is not a hack.
  • A PLA-NET coating moves it without thrusters. A conductive film from the suit's own generator coats the surface, and attraction and repulsion between air molecules move it, so no beam or thruster effects have to be recreated.
  • The mechanical face is Sarah's face. Main and sub-cameras are precise enough to catch hesitation in an opponent, and the back of the hair works as a stabiliser.
