Makina Nakajima

Makina Nakajima is an 18-year-old member of Walkure, the tactical sound unit in Macross Delta, performing in the field while the fighters fly. Her catchphrase is "Music is Hope".

What makes Makina Nakajima stand out

• Engineer first. She comes from a family of engineers and helps Chaos mechanics maintain the VF-31 units, so she knows variable fighters as well as a stage.
• She made the costumes. Makina designed the outfits that gave Walkure its early look and keeps working on costume design.
• The one who lifts the room. She hands out cute nicknames and cheers the group up when a show turns bad.
