Makima

Makima is the Public Safety Devil Hunter in charge of Division 4 in Tatsuki Fujimoto's Chainsaw Man. She brings Denji into the organisation and keeps him under her supervision, and the dark suit, the braid and the level expression she wears at work are what most releases are built around.

What makes Makima stand out

• One outfit, repeated Where other characters change costume each arc, Makima keeps the same suit throughout. The difference between two releases is scale, pose and expression rather than wardrobe, which makes them easy to compare side by side.
• Stillness used as a pose She stands with her hands behind her back or her arms folded, and the sculpts hold that calm instead of reaching for an action beat. It is a harder read at small size, so the better releases spend their detail on the face.
• Ringed eyes that survive scaling Her eyes are drawn with concentric rings, one of the few design details that carries at every size. Even the smallest prize figure keeps them, which is usually the tell between a careful paint job and a rushed one.

What this collection covers

The page runs from large to small: 1/7 scales from several makers, an articulated figma, a Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts release, a 1/6 FigZero figure, a DFORM+ deformed action figure, a PLAMAX plastic model kit, and prize figures from the BiCute Bunnies and Exceed Creative lines. A nurse-version set pairs her with Power, and a plush covers the soft-goods side.
