Luminasta is SEGA's prize-tier figure line, focused on dynamic anime poses with an emphasis on transparent and pearlescent paint effects. The line covers a wide range of contemporary anime IPs — Frieren, Spy x Family, Demon Slayer, Bocchi the Rock, JoJo, and more.
Luminasta figures typically stand around 18-22 cm. They sit between an entry-level prize figure and a mid-tier scale figure in quality, with significantly better paint than older SEGA prize lines.
What is Luminasta?
Luminasta is SEGA’s figure brand for amusement venues, sold through SEGA PRIZE. It aims for a high-quality look through detailed poses, extra paint colors, eye treatment and added base sculpting. The first release, Rem and Ram from Re:Zero in penguin costumes, rolled out to arcades and online crane games in Japan on January 27, 2023.
How tall are Luminasta figures?
Height varies by figure. For example, the Chihiro Rokuhira “Kuro” figure from Kagurabachi is about 19 cm tall. Check each product page for the figure you are looking at.
Do Luminasta figures come with extras?
It depends on the release. The Rem and Ram figures, for instance, each came with a speech-bubble message board and an ice-shaped object that can hold sticky notes or serve as a pen stand.
Which series are in the Luminasta collection?
The collection includes figures from SPY x FAMILY, Saekano the Movie: Finale, Lycoris Recoil, Fate/Grand Order Arcade, Puniru is a Kawaii Slime, and Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, among others.
