Lucario is a Fighting and Steel type from Sinnoh, classed as the Aura Pokémon. It appeared first in the 2005 film Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, then in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl a year later, and evolves from Riolu.
What makes Lucario stand out
It reads aura.
Lucario senses the aura of living things, which lets it judge thoughts, movements and feelings from over half a mile away. A trained one can pick out a species by its aura alone.
Friendship, then daylight.
Riolu does not evolve by level. It becomes Lucario when it levels up with high friendship during the day.
Mega Evolution, and a fighting game.
Holding Lucarionite in Pokémon X and Y lets it become Mega Lucario. It has also been a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and later entries.
What this collection covers
Two Bandai kits: a Pokémon Model Kit that builds Riolu and Lucario together, and a separate Pokémon Model Kit Mega Lucario.
