Leon S. Kennedy

Leon Scott Kennedy is one of the leads of Capcom's Resident Evil, known in Japan as Biohazard. He arrived in 1998's Resident Evil 2 as a rookie police officer reporting for his first shift in Raccoon City, already late and already inside an outbreak.

What makes Leon S. Kennedy stand out

• Rookie first, agent later. By Resident Evil 4 he is a special agent sent to Spain to recover the president's daughter, Ashley Graham, from a cult using the Las Plagas parasite. He is dry and sarcastic about almost everything that happens to him.
• He keeps getting pulled back. Resident Evil 6 opens with him accused of assassinating the president. In Requiem he works for the Division of Security Operations, a federal counter-bioterrorism agency, investigating a new bioweapon alongside FBI agent Grace Ashcroft.
• He crossed into animation. Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017) is the third CG film in the series and pairs him with Chris Redfield and Rebecca Chambers. Leon had already headlined Degeneration and Damnation before it.
