The Lancelot Albion is Suzaku Kururugi's Knightmare Frame in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2. Camelot built it as the ninth-generation replacement for the Lancelot Conquista, and it becomes his personal unit once Lelouch takes the throne and names him Knight of Zero.
What it does in the story
It is a bodyguard's machine in a war of politics. The Albion debuts against the uprising of the remaining Knights of the Round, covers the abduction of the U.F.N. delegates, and defuses a F.L.E.I.J.A. warhead over the Damocles with the Eliminator.
What makes it different
Built to match the Guren.
Camelot designed its mobility and firepower around the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N., which had already outclassed the Conquista. Those two are the only ninth-generation frames in the TV series.
Energy Wings.
Six beam wings replace the Conquista's Float System. They fly without regard for aerodynamics, leave afterimages behind, work as a shield, and fire dagger-like particles.
Two Super V.A.R.I.S.
The double-barrelled rifle runs three modes: solid bolts, a concealed Hadron cannon with the barrels split, and Full Burst. One fits in each hand.
Blades and anchors.
Two Maser Vibration Swords sit beside the cockpit; four Slash Harkens, arm and hip mounted, do the grappling. Forearm and shin Blaze Luminous generators handle defence.
The name.
Albion is an older word for Britain, which is the joke: a Britannian machine named for the island the empire left behind.
How big is it?
Specifications: 5.15 m tall and 9.12 metric tonnes, one pilot, powered by a Yggdrasil Drive with an Energy Filler.
