Build Review
BB400 Legendbb Knight Superior DragonKnight Superior Dragon is the armoured golden knight form of Superior Dragon, the guardian deity of the Saddrac World in the SD Gundam Gaiden line. In the story it appears when Vassal Knight Gundam and his rival Satan Gundam find that they are two halves of one being and fuse. It belongs to SD Gundam Gaiden rather than to any Universal Century timeline, and Bandai released it in the Legend BB range in 2016.
Superior Dragon is the power that arrives when Saddrac is at its limit, so the knight is rarely on screen as a fighting machine. In the original Gaiden run the two halves reunite in front of Dark Emperor Sieg Zeon and the fused knight rises afterwards as a star. Later series use it as a guide rather than a combatant, lending strength to Knight Gundam GP01 and to Zero Gundam between crises.
P-Rex Hobby is a Bandai Recommended Hobby Store with 20,000+ customers served and 1800+ five-star reviews. US orders ship duties prepaid with no import fees, and Route Package Protection is available at checkout.
1. Is Knight Superior Dragon a mobile suit?
No. It is an SD Gundam Gaiden character drawn in super-deformed proportions, and it has no place in any Universal Century timeline. The plamo release is a non-scale SD kit rather than a 1/144 or 1/100 scale model.
2. Which two characters fuse to form it?
Vassal Knight Gundam and Satan Gundam. They are the good and evil halves of Musha Gundam Mark III after Sieg Zeon split the original being.
3. What is the difference between Superior Dragon and Superior Kaiser?
Superior Kaiser is the god's true form, reached when Superior Dragon merges with the super dragon Kaiser Wyvern. The knight form is the armoured appearance it uses when it comes down to the world.
4. Why does the armour look like a 00 Gundam?
Because that is what the design is based on. The ancient Superior Dragon takes its shape from the GN-0000 00 Gundam, and the knight armour is fitted over that silhouette.
