King (One Piece)

King, the Conflagration, is one of the three All-Stars of the Beasts Pirates and Kaidou's right-hand man in One Piece. Born Arber, he is a lunarian from the Red Line, a race nearly extinct and known for fire.

What makes King stand out

• Flame on the back A plume of fire rises from his upper back, a lunarian trait no other All-Star shares. When it goes out, the protection it gives him goes too.
• A pteranodon, not just wings He ate the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon, an ancient zoan that gives him a flying predator's body on top of his black wings.
• The mask He covers every inch of skin to hide what he is, down to a full-face leather mask, and removes it only during the raid on Onigashima.
