Kenshiro is the protagonist of Fist of the North Star (Hokuto no Ken), written by Buronson and drawn by Tetsuo Hara from 1983. He is the 64th successor of Hokuto Shinken, an assassination art that strikes hidden pressure points, and he walks a post-apocalyptic wasteland protecting the weak.
What makes Kenshiro stand out
-
Seven scars, shaped like the Big Dipper.
The scars on his chest are the mark of his school and the reason he is called the Man with Seven Scars.
-
The catchphrase describes a technique.
"You are already dead" is said before the pressure-point strike takes effect, not after, which is why the line reads as calm rather than as a threat.
-
Designed from Bruce Lee and Yūsaku Matsuda.
Hara built the face from those two actors and borrowed the outfit from Mad Max 2, so the silhouette is leather, straps and bandages rather than armour.
-
The scale range is wide.
The page runs from a FuRyu Noodle Stopper prize figure to Prime 1 Studio's 1/6 Premium Masterline statues, with articulated 1/6 figures between them.

Frequently asked questions
1. What is Hokuto Shinken?
An assassination art that strikes hidden meridian points; the target's body fails shortly after the blow, which is where the catchphrase comes from.
2. Which of these are poseable?
The S.H.Figuarts, the two Chozokado, the DIGACTION and the Storm Collectibles 1/6 figure; the statues and prize figures are fixed.
3. Are the two Premium Masterline releases the same statue?
No: one is the Gold Version, one the Deluxe Gold Version, sold separately; check each listing for what the deluxe adds.
