Kazuma Satou

Kazuma Satou is the protagonist of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!, Natsume Akatsuki's light novel series. He is a Japanese shut-in who dies in an accident he would rather not have described, and wakes in a fantasy world next to Aqua, the goddess who was meant to be sending him there.

What makes Kazuma Satou stand out

• He chose the goddess Offered any power for the trip, Kazuma took Aqua herself out of spite. Megumin and Darkness join afterwards, and the party he ends up running is the series' central joke.
• An adventurer, not a hero His class is the basic Adventurer, and his stats are ordinary apart from high luck and intelligence. He fights with the short katana Chunchunmaru, leans on the Steal skill, and would rather trade or talk his way out than train.
• Small, plain and always complaining He is about 165 cm with messy chestnut hair, and he treats the world as a game whose manual he has already read, which is where most of his complaints come from.
