Kazuma Kuwabara

Kazuma Kuwabara is one of the four leads of Yu Yu Hakusho, Yoshihiro Togashi's manga about a delinquent drafted into work as the Underworld's detective. He is Yusuke Urameshi's classmate at Sarayashiki Junior High.

What makes Kazuma Kuwabara stand out

• Second strongest, and he says so. He picks fights with Yusuke to prove he is stronger and never manages it, then turns the rivalry into respect. He will fight anyone, but he does not steal or extort.
• A sword cut out of his own aura. During the contest to become Genkai's pupil he learns to shape his reiki into the Spirit Sword, or Reiken. Training for the Dark Tournament gets him to two blades.
• The Dimensional Sword. Against Kiyoshi Mitarai he produces the Jigen To, a cleaner aura blade that cuts through and between dimensions, which is why Sensui needs him captured.
• Health first. The back of his coat carries the kanji for "health first", reproduced on the ARTFX J and Nendoroid releases. He also has an unusually strong sixth sense for the supernatural.
