Kaname Buccaneer on video

Kaname Buccaneer

Kaname Buccaneer leads Walküre, the tactical sound unit in Macross Delta. She is 22, 168 cm tall, and from the planet Divide.

What makes Kaname Buccaneer stand out

  • She runs the unit. The eldest of the five, she manages joint operations with Delta Flight, the squadron that flies guard while Walküre performs.
  • Song is life. She closes a concert with 歌は生命, song is life, and wears yellow; after a solo debut that went nowhere, she became a founding member on fold receptor aptitude.
  • The voice underneath. She sang lead before Mikumo joined and now sets the lower harmony under her.

What this collection covers

A Tiny Session set pairs a transforming VF-31F Siegfried with a small Kaname in stage costume, and a PLAMAX MF-09 minimum factory kit builds her at 1/20 in concert dress.

Frequently asked questions

1. Does Kaname fly?

She leads the singers; the Siegfried in the Tiny Session set is Messer's machine, boxed with her figure.

2. Why is she on VF-31F products?

Walküre's singers ride in the two-seat cockpit, and kits of the F include a 1/100 Kaname in flight gear.
