Jagi

Jagi is the third of the four Hokuto brothers in Fist of the North Star, adopted and trained by Ryuken alongside Raoh, Toki and Kenshiro. He never accepts his place below Kenshiro, and his reputation rests on tricks rather than technique.

What makes Jagi stand out

• He wins by cheating. Jagi carries a shotgun, spits needles and sets traps; his brothers look down on him for wanting victory at any cost.
• The helmet. A beating leaves his face disfigured; he has metal implants fitted under a helmet that becomes his silhouette.
• He borrows a legend. Jagi scarred his own chest to copy Kenshiro's seven wounds, then hurt villages while using his brother's name.
