Iruma Suzuki

Iruma Suzuki is the human at the centre of Osamu Nishi's Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, serialised in Weekly Shōnen Champion since 2017 and animated by BN Pictures from 2019. His parents sell him to the demon Sullivan, who adopts him as a grandson and enrols him at the Babyls School for Demons, where he must keep his species a secret.

What makes Iruma Suzuki stand out

• Raised on odd jobs. Neglected at home, he worked a string of jobs young, and the adaptability he picked up keeps him upright at school.
• Unable to say no. He helps anyone who asks, even when it costs him, which is how he ends up with friends.
• Rank one, by accident. The ranking owl handed him the Ring of Gluttony instead of a badge, so he started at Aleph, the bottom rank.
