XXXG-01S2 Gundam Jiyan Altron

XXXG-01S2 Gundam Jiyan Altron is a Gunpla built and flown by the player Tigerwolf in Gundam Build Divers (2018). Its base is the Altron Gundam from Gundam Wing, with tiger and wolf motifs added to the dragon heads the original carries, the mix behind Tigerwolf's nickname, Tri-Fang.

What it does in the story

It arrives in episode 4 with the Ryukorodo finish, where energy leaves the right fist as a tiger and a wolf and merges into a dragon-shaped beam. Episode 18 uses the shoulder weapons as Raijin Thunder against the 00 Sky, and episode 23 has it cutting through the Coalition's Gunpla until the AGEII Magnum SV answers it.

What makes it different

  • The shoulder armour becomes a fist. Wolf-Ken and Tiger-Ken pull off the shoulders and clamp over the hands for heavier punches. Both mouths fire, one flame and one bolt, even while the pieces stay shoulder-mounted.
  • It turns gold before a finish. The plating goes gold just before the Ryukorodo. It is read as a nod to the Hyper Mode of G Gundam.
  • It borrows another machine's weapon. In episode 23 the right hand takes the Seravee Scheherazade's GN Claw Container, and the Ryukorodo launched with it becomes the Sokyoku Silk Road.

1. Is the Jiyan Altron the same suit as the Altron Gundam?

It is a custom Gunpla built on that machine. The frame and the dragon-head arms come from the Altron; the tiger and wolf armour, the gold finish state and the Ryukorodo are Tigerwolf's additions.

2. Why does the Jiyan Altron change colour mid-fight?

The gold comes up before a finishing attack rather than as damage. Because the shift is temporary and tied to the attack, the usual reading is that it copies the Hyper Mode of G Gundam.

3. How is the Sokyoku Silk Road different from the Ryukorodo?

It is the same attack with a borrowed weapon in the hand. The GN Claw Container changes the colour of the beams, and the episode ranks its power beside the AGEII Magnum SV's EX Calibur.
