GN-001REIII Gundam Exia Repair III is the third rebuild of the GN-001 Exia, introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam 00V: Battlefield Record and flown by Setsuna F. Seiei. Celestial Being built it on the Exia Repair II, and the machine is stationed on Earth rather than in space.
Its recorded mission is a raid on an Earth Sphere Federation research institute that is reviving the Super Soldier programme by forcing people with Innovator factors awake. Setsuna volunteers and the suit is prepared for him in advance: a single GN Long Rifle shot from a sniping position carries a telepathic message inside the beam, with the beam's GN Particles acting as the medium for the quantum brainwaves. The shot passes the buildings on purpose, and the escape it triggers is the point — after which the suit has to hold twelve GN-XIIIs in close combat long enough for that escape to finish.

1. Does the Exia Repair III have a GN Drive?
No. Its power source is a large GN Condenser, a particle storage tank, which is why the design adds more condensers in the shoulder and knee armour. Celestial Being was rationing drives by this point and kept the available one for the 00 in space.
2. What was the beam that carried a message?
In the Battlefield Record mission the GN Long Rifle's shot was infused with a telepathic message, because GN Particles can carry quantum brainwaves between people who have them. The beam was aimed to pass close to the research institute rather than into it.
3. How is the Repair III different from the Repair II?
The Repair II was the rebuild made for the final battle and ran on a GN Drive. The Repair III replaces that with a condenser, stores extra particles in the shoulder and knee armour, fits newer thrusters, and carries the GN Long Rifle with the GN Sword Kai.
4. Why does this suit have a shorter published record than the Exia?
It comes from the 00V photo-novel side story rather than the television series, so it appears in fewer printed references. The figures given here come from its published specification entry.
