Genya Shinazugawa

Genya Shinazugawa is a Demon Slayer in Koyoharu Gotouge's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and the younger brother of Sanemi, the Wind Hashira. He cannot use Breathing techniques, so he fights with a shotgun firing Nichirin pellets and a Nichirin wakizashi, and borrows a demon's strength briefly by eating its flesh.

What makes Genya Shinazugawa stand out

• No Breathing style. Where the rest of the Corps channels forms, Genya has none. His combat is built from tools and a body pushed past its limits.
• Shotgun and short blade. The firearm fires Nichirin pellets and the wakizashi covers close range, which is why nearly every figure is posed with one of the two.
• The Swordsmith Village arc. Several releases are labelled for that arc, where he fights beside Tanjiro and Nezuko; the Ichibansho is titled Breached Swordsmith Village.
