xvt-mmc Geara Ghirarga is Do-ji's Gunpla in Gundam Build Divers (2018) and returns in Re:RISE. It is a customised xvt-zgc Ghirarga, the Vagan machine from the Kio arc of Gundam AGE, built after Riku Mikami beats him.

What it does in the story

Do-ji's idea is a Ghirarga that made a deal with the devil, and the series takes that literally. After losing again in a Battle-Random mission he fits an illegal Break Decal from Tsukasa Shiba, which regrows severed parts and multiplies the tail whips but also takes the Gunpla out of his hands. Ogre and Riku end up shutting it down together.

What makes it different

  • Heat-sink blades cover the body. The custom pushes output past what the base machine handles, so blades with a heat-sink effect cover the suit: they bleed off and absorb heat and double as fixed cutters. Nine Heat Ghirablades are listed.
  • The tail is a whip. The Ghirarga Ghiratail detaches from the back of the waist and is swung by hand. It has more joints than the original tail, stretching its reach about three times, and under the Break Decal several can be made at once.
  • The rifle came from another build. The Changeling Rifle is Yukio Hidaka's, from his GM III Beam Master: rotating the base swaps it between beam rifle and beam vulcan modes. Do-ji gets it during the Mirror Mission, when he tries a support role.
