Four Murasame

Four Murasame is the Cyber Newtype at the centre of the Murasame Research Lab's work in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (1985, U.C. 0087), a second lieutenant in the Titans. The lab took her in as a war orphan, wiped her memories and replaced her name with a number. MegaHouse has her in GGG — Gundam Girls Generation — the line given over to the female cast.

What it does in the story

She is the project's proof of concept: a pilot built to handle a machine that an ordinary pilot cannot survive. That work is what puts her in the Psycho Gundam, and it is also what costs her, since the enhancements leave her with headaches that only heavy medication holds back.

What makes it different

• She is a made Newtype, not a born one. The Murasame Research Lab trained her into an artificial Newtype rather than finding one, and the strengthening is not free: the same work that sharpens her is what damages her.
• The figure is built to float. It is a 1/8 scale pre-painted figure of roughly 19 cm, with the jacket cast in clear plastic and finished in partial see-through paint so the silhouette reads through the fabric. The base is clear as well, drawn from the aura around her in the series, so she can be displayed as though it were holding her up.
